I just got word that Team Affiliate Marketers Give Back will be honored during the opening ceremonies taking place during the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Rocky Montains Walk.
We will be recognized for being the top fundraising team for this Avon Walk along with having the single largest fundraiser, Captain Missy Ward. (View all top fundraisers here.)
This year’s team will be walking 39 miles on June 25-26 through the scenic mountains and trails of Summit County, Colorado.
While we’re all excited for the fresh air and beautiful views, we are extremely nervous about the high altitudes and potential for most of us to get altitude sickness due to the reduced air pressure and lower oxygen levels at this high altitude.
As of today, our team has raised $65,736.00 and we’re still going strong, but some of our team members could really use some help with hitting their minimum fundraising requirements.
You see, when we all sign up to walk, we make a commitment to Avon that we will each raise a minimum of $1,800 each, in order to participate in the actual event. A few of our teammates are still under goal and may not be able to walk with us. So, if you can help them out, please consider making a donation to any of the walkers on this page that have not reached their $1,800 minimum.
