Meet Team AMGB Walker: Brian Chase

Brian Chase

I have been a part of the Media Breakaway/affiliate.com team for 3 ½ years where I’m an affiliate manager.  I’m originally from Indiana and lived in the Midwest until I came to Colorado in 2006.  Here I met my wife Melissa and we have been happily married for almost 2 years now.  Our family also includes the best puppy in the world, Bailey.  In my free time I enjoy hockey, baseball, and traveling to new places.  I am very excited to be a part of the Avon Breast Cancer Walk along with so many coworkers in the affiliate marketing industry.

Meet Team AMGB Walker: Jen Goode

Jen Goode

Jen Goode is the owner and “doodler in charge” of JGoode Designs, a Denver based art and design studio. She has been a creative professional since 1996, developing art for a variety of uses in an array of mediums from handmade crafts to Graphic design and Illustration. Jen is a tech savvy, work-at-home mom of 3 who shares her insight as an “unstarving artist” by writing as a featured contributor on Suze Orman’s Money Minded Moms and as the Denver work-at-home mom at Examiner.com. She is involved in social media and internet marketing, volunteering as the Newcomer Program Coordinator for Affiliate Summit, is a member of the Performance Marketing Association and a designer member of the Craft and Hobby Association.

I’ve been involved in a variety of fund raising and awareness events
because cancer can affect anyone and I want to always remember that
although when we don’t feel the pain ourselves, someone else is. Even
if it hasn’t touched us physically, we each know someone who has been
affected. I think the sharing of support is half the battle. Being
there to “walk” when when someone else can’t is something so many of
us are capable of and it does make a difference.

As for why he’s walking:

I participated in my first Avon Walk with AMGB in part because it happened in my home town. I felt I needed to take part to support the team. Watching the solidarity of not only team AMGB but of all those who took part in the walk, not to mention the incredible support we received from people lining the route, was an amazing experience. Since then I have been more involved than ever in a variety of social good causes from fighting cancer (breast and colon) to fighting homelessness. This summer just seemed like the right opportunity to take part in that solidarity again.

Charity Luncheon Winner, Eleanor Chin

Eleanor ChinEleanor Chin was the winner of the Charity Luncheon with the Experts during Affiliate Summit West, 2011.

Eleanor donated $1,025 towards the Affiliate Marketers Give Back, 2011 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer to have lunch with Missy Ward, Shawn Collins, John Chow, Jeremy Schoemaker, Rae Hoffman, Brian Littleton and Chris Pearson.

John Chow did a fantastic job recapping the event on his blog. We had a fantastic time getting to know Eleanor and her business plans and I hope that we provided her some great information.

Thank you Eleanor for helping us #SaveTheBoobies.
